About Me
I grew up in Arlington, Virginia with a family that would classify a night in a hotel as camping. I had to take it on myself to experience the outdoors and explore my interests in the environmental field.

In 2016, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Environmental Sciences. Before starting graduate school, I spent three years as a research technician at the Keck Environmental Field Lab at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. My day-to-day tasks varied from soil collection in the Everglades during peak mosquito season to analyzing greenhouse gas samples in the lab.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Center for Limnology co-advised by Dr. Hilary Dugan and Dr. Emily Stanley. Broadly, I am interested in water quality and greenhouse gas emissions from freshwater systems with an emphasis on urban environments.
